"I was buying this wallet as another option for the ones I already have, to my surprise this wallet clicks all the boxes to be the ONLY wallet you need. Great materials and finishing. Outstanding." - Jose S.
"Perfect! Finally a comfortable wallet for my front pocket. Plenty of room for all my cards and, yes, it made me declutter." - Vincent D.
"I'm not sure there is a better design to meet my requirements: 14 credit cards, plus some US bills, thin, leather, and good build quality. I love this thing and so does my wife! Thanks Distil." - Jim S.
"This is a great slim wallet & seems to be well made & looks good. I have had it now for a few weeks and it's been excellent & easy to organize all my essential cards. Access to those cards is a simple pull away. I would buy it again." - Simeon P.
"I switched to this wallet from a tall bulky wallet. I really enjoy how compact it is and the functionality of the wallet. It goes great when I'm dressed up or casual. Would definitely recommend." - Kevin C.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. The magnets don’t cross the plain of the magnetic field on the wallet closure. Tap to Pay is not susceptible to magnetic fields, and the chip in your card is not either. We’ve never had an instance where a Wally user has had the magnetic stripe on a credit or debit card go bad from using our wallet. Like the Apple wallet and other Apple magnetized products, this magnetic wallet is safe for cards.
An AirTag creates a pretty sizable bump in the wallet, which we find uncomfortable to sit on. Instead of an AirTag, we recommend a Rolling Square AirCard (which clocks in at 2mm thick vs. the AirTag’s width of 8mm). Tile and Chipolo have similar options that we like, too.
Wally Bifold was the very first pull-tab billfold of its kind—and it all started on Kickstarter back in 2014! Wally Bifold established a look that is now almost ubiquitous in wallet design, and it has “inspired” many similar options in the market. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
That said, the copycats have never matched our quality or construction. The Distil Wally Bifold is crafted from rich full-grain leather certified gold by the Leather Working Group (LWG), a non-profit “watchdog” that assesses a manufacturer's environmental compliance. Factors such as traceability, how the tanning process occurs, and how the manufacturer handles waste are all considered in the grading process. While we exclusively use full grain leather (which is the strongest portion of leather, where the fibers are the tightest), copycat wallets often use a lower grade that requires sanding off the top layer of fibers. We also roll the edges and stitch with reinforcements in all the highest-touch places.
And, with our secure MagLock® pockets, Wally Bifold 5.0 is improved and better than ever.
Sure. You can put coins in the card pockets, if that’s your thing. The pockets were not explicitly designed with coins in mind, but we've never heard of an issue from any user choosing to use it that way.
