Always looking out for me, my mom often reminds me of a simple phrase: “Chop wood, carry water.” It is a perspective reset when I'm overwhelmed that means keep going with the necessary tasks ahead of you. That phrase stayed with me this spring as I traveled to China and Japan, knee-deep in the long process of developing our MagLock® Belt.

No worries there on your phone - these are static magnets, similar to what’s already in your phone case or headphones. Phones these days are full of magnets, and feature solid-state memory and screens that aren't affected by magnets. Credit card chips are not affected by them either.
However, if you do have a medical condition (like one that requires a pacemaker or hearing aid affected by magnets), please follow your doctor's advice.

Check where your PANTS SIZE lands in the following ranges:
XS = 24-28 US pants (waist 26-30")
S = 28-32 US pants (waist 30-34")
M = 32-36 US pants (waist 34-38")
L = 36-40 US pants (waist 38-42")
XL = 40-44 US pants (waist 42-46")
XXL = 44-48 US pants (waist 46-50")
If your pant size goes in-between ranges, we recommend that you size up.
The general rule of thumb is to add 2" to your pant size to find your actual waist circumference, and typically belts come in sizes like 28, 30, 32 etc.
You can also measure your waist size (which is shockingly *not* your pant size) – but during our testing it was pant size, not waist size, that everyone is already familiar with.
